Other than them spamming WHT and me having to ban their donkey at least once, I missed the saga of what happened.

I've not even heard of Dodora to even know they were a registrar. :) But then again there are too many out there in my opinion.

Is this the first registrar to go belly up?
I have never heard of dodora but if they are spammers then I'm glad they are down and out.

Horrible interface, horrible customer service and all around shady from the start....the only surprise is that they lasted this long :D.
Although, this has to suck for their resellers, because they are probably going to lose the money in their accounts.
Whos going to pick up all their domain customers? I think it will be interesting to see how ICANN handles this all.

Mr Michael Bernstein has had to take over the control of Dodora. He has partnered with Directi and LogicBoxes to enable seamless transition and management of the existing Resellers, Customers and Domain Names of Dodora. Currently, .COM, .NET and .ORG Domains have been transitioned over to our System.
It has been decided, according to the site.

Dear Customer:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the Default Judgement against Dodora previously rendered in Cause No. CC-03-3182-E in County Court at Law Number Five, Dallas Texas is hereby VACATED. The Honorable Judge Greenberg signed an Order closing the receivership and denied the receivership's motion to approve Direct Information Pvt. Ltd. (directi.com) contracts. WHEREFORE, Dodora reserves its rights to assert any and all claims against Directi.com, including, without limitation, claims for the recovery of Dodora's residual income paid by Dodora's customers for the renewal of their domain names, and for the recovery of all other Dodora assets and property.
A week ago we wrote to Bhavin Turakhia with copies of the Texas Court Orders advising him for a return of the income he has collected on behalf of Dodora. What was his response, if any? Obviously, if he was willing to refund the monies, then there was little basis for a lawsuit. As indicated in that letter, Dodora filed a lawsuit in U.S. Federal Court to take any necessary action against Direct Information Pvt. Ltd. (directi.com), LogicBoxes, Webhosting.info, Answerable, Inc., ResellerSRS, Inc., and Transecute, Inc.
We still are in the early stages of taking full control of Dodora Registrar System (DRS). To assist you in setting up your registrar API Access account, we will be sending you a copy of this letter via email along with instructions for setting up your account.
In the event that you experience any difficulties, or if you have any questions or concerns regarding your domain names at Directi.com, we have a team of support professionals ready to assist you.
