View Full Version : RegisterFly!!!!
Has anyone here had a problem with registerfly? I had to put in my DNS 3 times over several days and many live chats with their tech support it even resolved for a while and then POOF the DNS reverted back to Register Fly......soooo I put it in again lastnight and this morning the same freaking thing....I emailed support and as of now the correct DNS are showing up and it will be another 24-48 before it resolves Im kinda feelin like :banghead:
ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGG :fork:
Did I pick a lemon of a registrar? or is this just a glitch?
I have my personal domain through 000domains.com never a problem...Im thinking I should have stayed with them :baghead:

did you set up some nameserver profiles. that may help
i haven't had any problems with registerfly. Their chat box customer support people are in accurate. you need to email the head tech guy: tim.shor@unifiednames.com He gives the right answers and takes care of the issues.

For the last 5 days my email boxes at Registerfly have been mainly down. I cannot reach them via webmail or by POP. Registerfly's help chat line daily promises a fix within 12-24 hours or 24-48 hours claiming that they are "upgrading the server". Upgrading the server without a prior warning to their paid customers.
When I asked for their management's contact details, no phone number was given. Emails to Tim Shor go unanswered.
I am most unhappy. I found their phone number and left 2 unanswered messages.
Does anyone know what's going on at Registerfly?

I would not know. I never get hosting with a domain registrar. I bet it is their hosting provider that is having the problems.
I transferred two domains that went through quickly. I have only need special attention once but the help came quickly.
They have a transfer special running that ends at the end of the month. Wonder if they are being flooded.

I had the same issue with my mail on an account with them. It seems like they had some new hardware go bad on the server where I am hosted. They are replacing the server and gave me an ETA of Monday.
I have been with them for a while and this is the first real mail problem I have had, normally they are excellent

I am still without access to my mailboxes which I rent from Registerfly. Everytime I write on their "Chat help" I am told to wait 12-24 hours. This has been going on now for 7 days! Tim Shor@unifiednames.com answered once and wrote "I have our network group on this now, if you wish I can move you to a brand new server(232), this should resolve the issue altogether"
Of course I agree but still nothing, no explanation. no help.
I am a layman, I just rented the mailboxes I do not understand what is happening.
Can anyone help me with an explanation. I mean 7 days for a server outage - Are they trying to cnovince me to take my business elsewhere? Thanx
The only issue I ever had with them was payment, I tried to put in CC info, and it kept declining... other then that, they truly are great at least have been for me
