So I take it that ebay is not the ideal place to sell domains, eh? I was considering selling off some there and trying it.

In my experience, anyway, you can get top dollar elsewhere. But I still use eBay if we've got some domains we're sick of messing with and want to dump. The best thing, though, is to signup somewhere like Parkingsite, so you can receive ongoing income from your domains.
