NameCheap..Registering Error

I went to name cheap to register a domain a few min ago checked the domain first it was open proceeded to register it as usual , I got an error that said it was unable to register the domain and to try again that I hadn't been billed ...soooo I tried again same error ...just then my email checker said I had mail go to look and its 2 receipts for the same domain , I look in the name cheap control panel....no domain...Ive emailed them but geesh!!

Problems happen - I don't think you will have a problem clearing this up with them :)

I know problems happen this thread was to warn ppl that right now there is something wrong with the name cheap domain reg process:baghead: lol ..I contacted them they gave me back my 2nd payment (the overcharge) and registered the domain reply time was only a few hours all in all for a problem it wasnt a bad experience :D

just beware if the script tells you to try again you havent been charged ..you have.... contact their tech support and dont retry it or you will get charged 2X

Yep their website doesn't always work properly but Namecheap's support is amazing -- something similar happened to my brother and they had everything resolved in a few hours.

I have over 10 domains registered through them...never had a problem, except when they changed their design around, but it was quickly resolved.
