Cheapest I've ever seen. Let us know what you think if you register your domain there :)
Looking over their FAQ, it looks they are partnered with AAAQ (http://www.aaaq.com) as their Registrar (I am sure that name wasn't picked so they would wind up first on any registrar list -- maybe I should start a registrar called 11111.com ;)).
Anyway, the interesting thing is that AAAQ is in Navin's current hometown:
AAAQ Whois Server Version 1.0
Domain Name: aaaq.com
Registrar: AAAQ.COM
Whois Server: whois.aaaq.com
Referral URL: http://www.aaaq.com
Name Server: ns2.siteprotect.com
Name Server: ns.siteprotect.com
Status: Active
Updated Date 2003-08-06
Creation Date: 2000-01-12
Expiration Date: 2005-01-12
Registrant:
AAAQ.com AAAQ info@aaaq.com
PO Box 2404
Chicago, IL 60690

Now, if you are thinking that there is some big hosting company based out of Chicago -- you are correct:
Registrant:
Hostway Corporation (HOSTWAY2-DOM)
200 W Adams Suite 1001
Chicago, IL 60606
US
Domain Name: HOSTWAY.COM

Coincidence? Could be. Nefarious? Doubtful. Interesting? Yes.

Hostway USED TO resell for OpenSRS until about 6 months ago; now they have their OWN registrar. One of my clients actually paid them more than US$50 per domain year. Can you believe it?

so the 'Rent a Smelly Tramp'* service will be expensive to use then I guess.. :( .. travel, per diems etc..
*this service is useful for expediting payments from tardy debtors by having a non aggressive, but very smelly hobo turn up in the debtors office and 'wait' for a cheque. Also useful for getting your way with companies, like NetSol, who are known to make simple things difficult for the average customer.

hi
i have been using them. However im going to be changing from them due to the fact they cannot change the ip address for my name servers.
i have i.e the nameservers ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com and am changing webhosts.
They cannot change ns1 and ns2 to have the ip address for my new webhost and their section in the control panel to to create your own dns for your domain i.e like ns1.yourdomain.com will only work once so i cannot change the records to my new host.

You may now register for US$5.41 per name year at ... a certain place. Don't know if it's appropriate for me to "advertise" for them. They resell for OpenSRS/Tucows which usually costs $10, so it's a loss leader.
